Arent  and wife Hester Frederick Groot's Home. Note on back reads: "Home built 1774, Guilderland, Albany Co., NY. Abram H. Sager was born in this house 10-23-1831. House was torn down by Wm. Crounse(sp) and a new house built on this site by him. Sketch by Major Aaron Sager, grandson of Arent Groot." 

Sketch is in Sager Collection, Onondaga Historical Association Research Center, Syracuse, NY.

This second drawing, in the same collection, is labeled on back " Uncle Aaron Groot's Home when Grandmother Groot lived. Built 1830."  Aaron Groot and Arent Groot are the same person just different spellings. Not sure if this is the same house as the one listed above.
